Żałuję, że nie mam tu gdzieś (czytałem w Empiku ^^) artykułu na temat Sierry Cosworth... miałbyś ripostę po Polsku.

Najważniejsze elementy artykułów:
"The Escort RS Cosworth was a sports derivative of the Ford Escort. It was available from 1992-96 and in very limited numbers. It was instantly recognisable due to its large whale tail rear spoiler. The main selling point was the Cosworth YBT engine, a highly tunable turbocharged 2-litre engine which put out 227bhp in standard trim. Tuned outputs have gone over 1000bhp.

Ford developed the car around the chassis and mechanicals of its predecessor, the Sierra Cosworth. 'Ghia' further modified the Escort bodyshell to accommodate the larger Cosworth engine and transmission. Designed under the guidance of Rod Mansfield and John Wheeler of Ford's SVO department, the Styling was carried out during 1989, by Stephen Harper (Designer) at MGA Developments in Coventry. The body tooling was created the coachbuilder's Karmann at their facility in Rheine, Germany, from where the cars were manufactured. Changes were made to the engine management system and a new turbocharger was fitted. Permanent four wheel drive with a 34/66% front/rear split came courtesy of an uprated five speed gearbox as used in the Sierra Cosworth. Recaro sports seats came as a standard fitment. Later production models were available without the oversize tail spoiler although by far the majority were still ordered with it. Like its Sierra predecessor, they are commonly nicknamed "Cossie" by enthusiasts."

I jeszcze z kawałka o Sierze:

"Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 received, if possible, an even more flattering response than its predecessors and production continued until the end of 1992, when the Ford Sierra was replaced by the Ford Mondeo. The replacement for the Sierra RS Cosworth was not a Mondeo however, but the Escort RS Cosworth. This was to some extent a Sierra RS Cosworth clad in an “Escort-like” body. The car was released in May 1992, and was homologated for Group A rally in December, just as the Sierra RS Cosworth was retired."

I czemu, Luk, siadasz na moim opowiadaniu, skoro wyraźnie napisałem "hybryda tego Cosia"? W opowiadaniu jest niewiadomoco, z silnikiem NA Scorpio Cosworth i podzespołami A-grupowej Sierry Cosworth. Nie wiem nawet, czy taki zrost ma sens i działanie. Fikcja literacka, ale z punktu widzenia technicznego wykonalna.

After being absent from the Australian market since 2000, factors contributing to giving the Mondeo the green light in Australia once again include strong design, positive European press and a shift towards mid-size vehicles.

This European engineered and designed Mondeo will be available in four versions, which include a base LX, higher spec Zetec and turbo diesel. But the big news is the fourth range topping model, the Mondeo XR5 Turbo.

Not yet available in Europe, the Mondeo XR5 Turbo receives Ford's excellent 2.5 liter Duratex 20-valve 5-cylinder engine currently seen in the Ford Focus XR5 (a.k.a Focus ST in Europe). It produces 162kW (220hp) at 5000 rpm and 320Nm (236 ft-lbs) of torque which is available from 1500rpm up to 4800rpm. The Mondeo X5 Turbo is only available with a six-speed manual transmission.

Mondeo XR5 Turbo interior upgrades include “Ford Power” keyless start button and an enhanced cluster display with a 15cm premium color screen. On the outside, the Mondeo XR5 Turbo is distinguished by “18-inch alloy wheels, lowered sport suspension and a performance-styled bodykit consisting of front and rear bumpers, fog lamps, and unique upper and lower grilles and rocker panel moulding.”

The Mondeo XR5 Turbo Model $RRP is $41,990.
